Another Friday night of dirt track racing is in the books at Kankakee County Speedway and the victors were some familiar names gracing the stage of victory lane.
Torin Mettille of Cullom, IL picked up his 23rd career Romar Transportation UMP Pro Late Model feature victory after grabbing the top spot on lap 10 of the 20-lap feature event. Austin McCarty finished second ahead of Chase Osterhoff, Ben Kirchner and Chad Osterhoff.
Earl Park (IN) hotshot Jerrad Krick went wire-to-wire to net his first 3 Sons Auto Salvage UMP Stock Car feature of the season. Krick wasn't threatened much in the event.
Rounding out the top five were Austen Hubbard, Don Hilleary, Joe Hillman and Jace Gall.
Congratulations also go out to $1000 to win Express Powersports UMP Factory Stocks feature winner David Hurst of Lafayette, IN.
Completing the top five were Lee Joseph Hall, Trevor Bitterling, Randy Smyser and Mike Reitz.
In Miller Hydraulic UMP Pro Modified action feature winner Deece Schwartz of Ashmore, IL, remained a perfect 5 for 5 on the year outrunning a stout field for the 20-lap distance.
Completing the top five were Cole Knebel, Donnie Martin, Brayden Doyle and Brandon Bollinger. Bollinger established a new track record in qualifying blistering the track record with a lap of 16.309.
Lastly, Congrats to tonights $500 to win First Place Oils UMP Sport Compact feature winner Matthew Balthazor of Ashkum, IL and tonights $200 to win Stock 4 Cyl winner Matt Radtke of Clifton, IL
Completing the top five were David Lauritson, Jake Momper, Jimmy Dutlinger and Danny White Jr.
Adam Thibo of Peotone won the 15-lap Crown Vic feature over a field of seven cars, as this introductory division continues to grow and entertain.
