McKinney Dominates $2100 to win Bill Davis Memorial (click here)


(Kankakee, IL - June 9th) Plainfield, IL modified star Mike "The Magic Man" McKinney started on the outside of the front row and took off like he was late for work to lead all 50 laps of the Bill Davis Memorial race last Friday night in the CR Towing UMP Modified division.


It was simply a dominating performance en route to his 31st career modified feature win at the speed plant.

Rounding out the top five were Frank Marshall, Steven Brooks, Allen Weisser and Travis Kohler.


In other action, Ben Kirchner of Kankakee, IL flew around the high side of the banked quarter-mile to score his first ever UMP Pro Late Model win ahead of the likes of Austin McCarty, Matt Hammond, Chase Osterhoff and Dan Kuhn.


The 15-lap 3 Sons Auto Salvage UMP Stock Cars feature winner was Jerrad Krick of Earl Park, IN.

Rounding out the top five were Don Hilleary, Cody Clubb, Kyle Anderaon and Megan Erwin. The victory was Krick's second of the season and 16th of his career.


Lee Joseph Hall of Fowler, IN put up an extra $600 to the winners share pushing that total to $900 to win in the 15-lap Express Powersports UMP Factory Stocks feature and was able to collect his own cash and then some grabbing his third victory of the season and second consecutive.

Completing the top five were Nathan Arterberry, Trevor Bitterling, Mike Reitz and Hayden Lomax.


In Miller Hydraulic UMP Pro Modified action, it was Deece Schwartz of Ashmore, IL returning to his winning form picking up his sixth feature win of the season and 20th of his career.

Completing the top five were Ryan Kohler, Curtis Caldwell, Scott McDonald and Pete Argianas.


Finally, congrats to the 15-lap First Place Oils UMP Sport Compact feature winner Jimmy Dutlinger of Peoria, IL and Stock 4 cylinder winner Matt Radtke of Clifton, IL. The triumph was Dutlinger's third of the season and Radtke's fifth.
